What to wear to the office - Spring edition.

There was a time when 'office wear' and 'business dress' consisted only of boring and slightly-too-restrictive suits that were neither comfortable or flattering for any of us. Thankfully, we seem to have progressed far beyond this now, and office dress codes can very much vary from 'business dress', to 'dress for your diary', toโ€ฆ well, 'wear whatever you want'.

However, it can be quite the fine art mastering what's appropriate for both the (hopefully) warmer and sunnier weather and your 10am meeting. And so, we've compiled together some of our favourite pieces that are giving us major spring fashion vibes, but suitable for the office, too!

Jumpsuits.

We feel like jumpsuits don't get enough credit in the workplace. Pair one with a blazer and heels and you'll instantly look ready to boss your way through the day. Also, get one that's a good fit and it's pretty much the same comfort levels as wearing your onesie to work - it can't get much better, right?

Colourful blazers.

Throw on a blazer with any outfit and we guarantee you'll feel like you've got your shit together a whole lot more than you did before. They're the most versatile item and can be the staple piece of your wardrobe. Wear one over a blouse and a trouser suit for that super important client meeting, or throw one over a t-shirt and jeans for a more smart-casual vibe.

Bright and pastel coloured blazers are very much in at the minute, so grab yourself a colourful one and wear over a totally black ensemble for a twist on a classic look.

Midi dresses & skirts.

A midi length dress or skirt is another one of those styles that you can easily dress up or down depending on your office dress code or your diary for the day. A pencil skirt will instantly make you meeting or interview ready, with the looser fitting dresses and skirts giving you a little more comfort. We love pairing midi length styles with trainers or a more casual shoe - and if your office dress code allows - can gives you that effortlessly cool look with quite literally minimal effort and maximum comfort!

Florals. Obviously.

You don't need us to tell you that floral prints are perfect for spring, and there is no reason why we can't bring a little bit of the annual trend to our working week. Whether you have to be super smart or are allowed to be a little more laid back, you can now find floral prints on pretty much everything from shift dresses to pretty blouses - it's the perfect way to brighten up your wardobe.
